Developed through painting, pictorial objects, and material construction, S.O.S. Oceans examines ecological vulnerability without reducing the work to environmental illustration. Material processes: accumulation, corrosion, sedimentation, fracture, and saturation, become part of the physical constitution of the paintings themselves.
